All Power to the Workers, Farmers, Miners and Barmaids Council of Dodge, Kansas

Periodically I am going to create posts of images of typewritten pages of short stories I wrote way back in the late-’70s and early-’80s. Most of those stories are real crap, but a few are clumsily written, but yet have something. Like this story. I used to photo copy short stories like this one and stand outside the punk shows and hand the photocopies out as people went in. To look at them now, eek, how embarrassing. But, thank god when you’re young you don’t know any better! It’s also interesting to me to see me learning how to write, I never to any “creative writing” classes, I learned by doing, and working with a few great copy editors and proofreaders.
